When a woman
who is poor
who is uneducated
who is unwed
who is Black, Indigenous, Dalit, 部落民, or from any other ethnic group that faces discrimination
who is homosexual
who is overweight
is voluntarily given the same respect, social status, opportunities and recognition before the law as her opposite. . . .
I may THEN be able to concede that indeed, humankind has progressed past our ancestors; primates.
Also, I really enjoyed watching "The Whistleblower" starring Rachel Weisz today (even though it came out in 2010) and it definitely inspired what I wrote above. Recommend!
